About SparkleSnap

SparkleSnap provides this service as a sole proprietorship. These terms cover sparklesnap.dev and its membership features when available. Contact hello@sparklesnap.dev about the service or these terms. Business identification.

SparkleSnap shares creative tools, games, art and learning resources. Features are developed over time. The availability of a page or account does not promise any particular future feature.

Joining and using your account

When you create a SparkleSnap account, including through Google sign-in, you agree to these terms. If local law requires a parent or guardian's permission for you to enter this agreement, obtain that permission before joining.

Provide an email address you can access. Keep your sign-in credentials and recovery methods secure, and contact us if you think someone else has accessed your account. Do not impersonate another person or use an account you are not authorised to access.

Google sign-in provides access to a SparkleSnap membership; it does not make Google the operator of SparkleSnap. Google's account services have their own terms.

Free access and optional support

Free to join and use, supported by optional contributions. Joining does not start a paid subscription or authorise a charge.

If we introduce paid products, memberships or certificates, their price, features, payment terms and applicable cancellation or refund information will be presented separately before you choose to purchase. An optional contribution does not buy features or guarantee continued availability unless a specific offer expressly says so.

Use the service with care

You may use the service for lawful purposes. Do not harass others, infringe their rights, send spam, distribute malicious code, bypass access controls or deliberately disrupt the service. Report suspected security issues privately to hello@sparklesnap.dev.

A nickname must not misleadingly impersonate someone or contain unlawful or abusive material. Keep private or sensitive information out of your nickname and ordinary support messages.

Creative work and software licences

SparkleSnap's artwork, writing, branding and software belong to their respective creators or licensors. Public availability does not by itself grant a right to redistribute, resell or rebrand them.

You may browse the site and use tools as intended. A particular download, open-source project or learning resource may grant additional rights under its own stated licence; that licence governs that material.

You retain your rights in information you provide. You allow us to store and process your account details and nickname only as needed to provide, protect and administer the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Progress, learning and availability

Features may be experimental, change, become unavailable or be discontinued. We aim to take reasonable care of the service, but cannot promise uninterrupted access or error-free tools. Keep your own copies of important work and any exports a tool provides.

Study materials support learning; they do not promise a particular examination result, qualification or professional accreditation. Only features actually offered in a product are included; creating an account does not itself promise cloud saves, badges or certificates.

Where reasonably possible, we will give advance notice of a significant reduction to an account service or its closure. Security incidents, legal requirements or events outside our control may require immediate action.

Closing or restricting an account

You can stop using SparkleSnap at any time. You can delete your account and nickname through My account or request help by email. If you joined with Google and have no SparkleSnap password, use password recovery to set one before using password-confirmed deletion. Deleting your membership does not delete your Google account.

We may restrict access or close an account when reasonably necessary to address a serious breach of these terms, abuse, security risks or legal requirements. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and give you a way to ask for review by emailing us. Urgent cases may require action before notice.

Privacy and outside services

The Privacy Policy explains account information, Google sign-in, necessary cookies, email delivery and your data rights. Account registration does not subscribe you to marketing.

External websites, identity providers and separately supplied apps operate under their own applicable terms and policies. Any additional terms for a particular SparkleSnap product will be shown with that product.

Your legal rights

Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer or data-protection rights, or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Responsibility for any loss is determined under applicable law, including the nature of the service and the circumstances of the loss.

Swedish law applies to these terms, subject to any mandatory protections you have under the law where you live. These terms do not remove your right to bring a claim in a court available to you under applicable law. Please contact us first if something has gone wrong so we can try to resolve it.

Changes and contact

The revision date appears above. We may update these terms as the service develops or legal requirements change. We will give reasonable notice of material changes affecting existing accounts through the service or email, except where immediate changes are necessary for security or legal reasons. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights you already have.
